19-year-old Rajveer Singh Jolly, CEO of Project Future, is driven by a passion for making technology accessible to all. His company, Project Future, has the goal of providing virtual reality experiences and technology education to individuals who may not have otherwise had access to these resources. In addition to its ecommerce offerings, Project Future also engages in community work and outreach projects that get people involved and interested in technology.
Jolly, who is currently studying at the African Leadership Academy, believes that it is crucial for young African people to be actively involved in the tech space in order to not miss out on the opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution. He is excited about the future of technology on the continent and how the skills he is learning at the African Leadership Academy will aid him in transferring the continent.
Project Future began as a small project in 2018 as a retail venture of reselling VR headsets and has since grown into an ecommerce store that offers a wide range of products and services related to virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, and other emerging technologies. In addition to its ecommerce offerings, Project Future also provides educational resources to help young people learn about and get involved with these technologies.
